Suzannah also believes in providing a comfortable and supportive atmosphere for transformation, not a stuffy clinical setting. She uses a highly personalized approach tailored to each individual, helping them attain peace and constructive growth.
She works with individuals 14 years of age and up, including adults and adolescents, often involving parents in learning the DBT skills and coping strategies as needed. She often works with patients struggling with suicide, self-harm, emotion disregulation, mood swings, anxiety, panic attacks, depression, and trauma. Additionally, she’s able and comfortable to incorporate faith and spirituality into her treatment plans as well.

Rob believes that every individual, family, and situation is unique; therefore he draws upon a variety of therapeutic techniques that best encourage a solution-focused outcome while utilizing his client’s strengths and abilities. Rob has training and extensive experience in DBT and CBT and works with individuals and their families.
For Rob, successful therapy is the ability to heal, recover and thrive in one’s life. Cope with situations and struggles that come and go. Rob focuses on teaching coping skills, helping his clients build insight, and providing appropriate and empathic guidance.

With over 20 years of experience in the field of mental health, John’s focus is on helping his clients identify and implement the changes they need in order to reduce their suffering and develop the ability to survive and thrive. While you can’t control what life throws at you, you can improve your ability to respond to the present moment in a skillful way, find your balance again, and get back up on your feet.
John helps his clients find their inspiration and turn it into sustainable action plans that help them grow and discover hope and success. One of the main tools he teaches is mindfulness– which helps in finding presence in the moment and achieving what you set out to do. Mindfulness can be a foundation of finding peace and working toward sustainable change. John works with individuals with a history of substance use, family discord, relationship issues, communication difficulties, low self-esteem, depression, anxiety and stress.
John works from a strengths-based approach. His philosophy is to look at each individual with a unique perspective. He is down-to-earth, practical, has a dry sense of humor, and interacts well with people. His goal is to engage clients into learning who they are, why they make certain choices, and how they can improve their sense of self, self-esteem, relationships, and communication patterns.
